Vintage metal object with two mythological creatures facing each other- they look enjoy maybe winged lions or griffins
Gold tone metal
It has a rectangular slot and two holes you can screw or nail through to hold it in place.
I think it might be a keyhole escutcheon or something similar, but I'm not sure exactly what!
It's in good preowned condition with several wear and patina, nothing major.
Measures 2.75" wide x 1.75" tall
The space between the nail holes is 2.25".
