The lens boasts a bright f/1.7 aperture - a large 30mm, exceeding the average SLR's f/1.8. It's equipped with shutter speeds from B to a maximum of 1/500 second, and the shutter-priority exposure mode is user-friendly for beginners. Manual aperture settings from f/1.7 to f/16 are also possible by disengaging the auto mode.
The viewfinder displays an exposure indicator, as well as a pictograph that is linked to the focus ring. This is not only the top-of-the-line model in the Demi series, but also arguably the highest-grade fixed-lens half-frame camera in Japanese camera history.

Ο Exposure: (Shutter & Aperture)
The light meter is working, and the aperture blades adjust appropriately according to changes in external light at the set shutter speed. The shutter fires crisply.
On a sunny day in June, outdoors, with ASA 100 and a shutter speed of 1/250 set, the viewfinder indicator showed between f/8 and f/10 (EV14-15), which I believe is a good reading, indicating no degradation in sensitivity.

Ο Lens: As you can see in images 4-5, there is no noticeable haze, mold, or scratches, and it appears to be in good condition. (Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for flawless optics)
There is no grinding in the focus ring, and the pictograph display is also linked.

Ο The shutter speed setting ring clicks effectively.

Ο Other Functions:

◇ The winding lever is light.
◇ The self-timer works. The counter works.
◇ The flash (not included) fired via the terminal.
◇ The light seals have been replaced (only around the eyepiece on this model).
