
Editor: Could you tell us a bit about yourself and how you entered the music industry?
Padraig Cahill: I began to busk and instantly fell in love with performing live.
Editor: Tell us about your achievements as a musician?
Padraig: I have gotten almost 50,000 Instagram followers. I’m also a street musician and have played duets with Glen Hansard & Allie Sherlock, and played at the ruby sessions in Dublin.
Editor: Where did you get that confidence to perform on stage?
Padraig: My parents have always made sure I wasn’t shy from a young age. So naturally I’m not shy and therefore I’m not scared to go on stage.
Editor: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Padraig: I hope to be finished school and touring with my music or just releasing music to a large fan base.
Editor: What is your dream project?
Padraig: A world arena tour.
Editor: Which Artists Instagram Stories do you follow and why?
Padraig: I follow fellow buskers, friends and other musicians such as Gavin James, Kodaline, Ed Sheeran, the Coronas and more mainly because I love to play their music and songs.
Editor: Who were your inspirations growing up?
Padraig: Ed Sheeran, Kodaline, Gavin James, Coldplay and more.
Editor: If you only had 24 hours to live, how would you spend your day?
Padraig: Probably singing my heart out eating loads of junk food.
Editor: What is your opinion about One Song? Do you think it’s a valuable platform for the career growth of musicians like you?
Padraig: I think it is a great opportunity for musicians to get more recognition.
